Information handled when pages load

Data Compression is a static website. It does not currently provide accounts, comments, contact forms, or a newsletter form.

When you request a page, the hosting provider may process technical details such as your IP address, browser type, requested URL, time of access, and referring page. This information is used to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and diagnose service problems.

Hosting and AMP

The site is hosted by Netlify. Pages load the AMP runtime from the AMP content delivery network at cdn.ampproject.org. Requests to those services are handled under their own privacy terms.

Analytics and cookies

Data Compression does not currently run an analytics service and does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated to identify the service and explain what it collects.

AI-assisted editorial work

Editors may use AI tools to help organize research, improve wording, or create clearly illustrative images. Editorial judgments, source checks, and publication decisions remain the publisher’s responsibility.

Affiliate links

The site does not currently publish affiliate links. It may add them in the future. If that happens, relevant pages will place a clear disclosure near recommendations or affiliate links.
